So you've been coming to New Life for a while, and would like to know how to get more involved? Here's how!

Develop a relationship with Jesus. The very first thing you need to do if you want to get more involved at New Life is have a relationship with Jesus. This means that you acknowledge that Jesus is the Son of God, who was born on earth, and died on the cross for your sins, so that you could get reconnected with God, and that you're spending time daily talking to Him through prayer and reading His word, the Bible.

Get Baptized. Once you've made the decision to make Jesus your Lord and Savior, the next step is to get baptized. Baptism represents washing away the old man, the sinner, and coming back out of the water clean and pure. We hold baptisms throughout the year, so keep an eye out for the next one.

Join a LIFE Group. It's important to be connected to a small group of people who you can grow with and share with, and who will encourage and pray for you. See the "Get Connected" page for more information on LIFE Groups.

Go through the Foundations Course. Foundations is our membership class. If you want to be a member, you must go through this class. However, even if you don't want to be a member, we hope you'll take this class. It'll tell you about who we are and what we believe.

Discover your Spiritual Gifts. Every Christian has Spiritual Gifts. They are different from natural talents and abilities; they are things that the Holy Spirit enables us to do so that we can continue the work of Jesus.

Find a place to serve. Look under the "Help Wanted" list for places where you can serve. God gives us talents, abilities and Spiritual Gifts so that we can serve each other and the world around us. Find a place to use your gifts, talents and abilities to serve!
