Fun, exciting, life giving, thought provoking and relational are all adjectives to describe New Life Children’s Church. Biblical principals are presented to be understandable to children of all ages. We do not babysit children in CC; we share genuine worship, praise and teaching similar to the main service. We meet with God and don’t just tell children about Bible stories; we share life application of biblical truths. We show that the Bible is not just a history book of stories about the past but it is alive today with valuable insights – a guide to daily living and a source of hope for us all.
CC includes different parts with hands on activities to support a theme each week. In any given week there is a main Bible point that is supported through different methodologies, including skits, videos, object lessons, games, crafts or snacks. In CC we all learn from each other and many times we the leaders are amazed at the insights the children have; a faith that is basic and sincere. As adults we sometimes complicate faith, children keep it real. The leaders learn from the children on a regular basis as they challenge us to look at our walk in a new light. We strive to make CC a safe zone that is loving and non-judgmental. Children are encouraged to participate in discussions and activities. Some children have a solid background in the Bible and for others it may be their first introduction to their Savior. We have a dedicated group of teachers, assistant teachers and aides that are in CC on a rotating basis. Our goal is to reach the children where they are and raise them up to be faithful Christ followers filled with the Holy Spirit.
We encourage children from kindergarten through 6th grade to join CC each Sunday morning. We truly care about the children and want them to develop a relationship with each other, the leaders and most importantly with our Lord and Savior.
