I just received a call from a stranger in Oklahoma. Her name is Connie. She began to tell me of her good friend that lives in Herkimer and is on the verge of suicidal or homicide. Connie explained to me her friends situation and the hopelessness of her life. I asked Connie how did she get our church number all the way from Oklahoma? She said she use to go to a church in Watertown of which I just happened to know that pastor personally and they told her to call us. So then I immediately called Connie's friend. As I spoke with her she was crying throughout the whole conversation. I could hear the hopelessness in her voice and spirit. I began to speak the hope of God into her life and that we wanted to reach out and minister to her. By the time we finished talking she wanted to come to our Christmas Party here at the church saturday evening and also wanted to be picked up by our bus for Sunday. I really believe that God heard this ladies hearts cry and this stranger was directed by God himself to call us. I believe that hope was given and ministered to Connie's friend and this is just the beginning of freedom for her. Praise God for a strangers call and a local woman's cry.

A lady called me two days ago and said she made a decision to start paying her tithe again. As a result of paying her tithe she said that she had been getting little amounts of money from different places and people just given to her. She opened a saving account because the money was building up. Then all the sudden her furnace broke down and she needed a new on. And low and behold the cost of the new furnace was 3,500 dollars and you guessed it. The exact amount that was in her savings account. You can't out give God. Take a step of faith today and make a choice to trust God's word concerning your finances. Pay your tithe to God first and his promise to honor that faith will result in finances coming in from all directions, people, circumstances.

Praise Report
Tuesday, September 27 I had a routine appointment with my cardiologist. An echocardiogram was done and a planned stress test was cancelled because the doctor found the echocardiogram to be quite abnormal and indicated a possible blockage in my heart. He ordered heart catheterization to determine the problem. Friday, September 30 I underwent a transradial access cardiac catheterizaion. The result was an excellent report.
Large clean arteries and no blockages.

Cheri and I were in Lowes yesterday and saw a elderly woman who was very deformed in her back area with a large humpback. It was so bad that her head was forced in a constant downward direction. As I saw here I immediately thought this is God's creation who has been in bondage to this probably all her life. I looked at Cheri without saying a word about my thoughts and she looked at me. Then all the sudden we both started walking towards the elderly woman. She had her son with her and we followed them outside and asked them if we could pray for her. Surprisingly enough they both said yes. As Cheri and I laid our hands upon her deformed humpback we both prayed and I believed that her back would straighten up as we prayed. I saw it in my minds eye of faith as we prayed but nothing happened at the end of the prayer. Or did it. Here was an old crippled woman in bondage probably eighty plus years. And that day she and her son had strangers at Lowes care enough to pray and believe for her healing. God has given us all power to heal the sick, cast out demons, and to raise the dead. I for one will begin to use that power whether I see results or not. They are all around us and our laying on of hands must be as normal as breathing. We lay our hands and the rest is up to God. Who will you lay hands on today?

Sunday morning I stood in the pulpit and told our church that God was going to give us a bus but we had to go out there and put our hands to it. Wednesday afternoon while resting because I felt run down from a cold the Lord spoke to me in a dream and said, "David ask for the nations." Then that night at our service I preached on going after the lost and I said again from the pulpit with such faith and assurance these words. As I live and breathe I will have that bus. Then thursday a guy from our church said I heard a bible college wants to get rid of a bus. Friday morning he and I went to the college and I drove a sixteen passenger bus back to our church. The bus had been donated to this college and it sat in a back lot in the woods for two years and had never been used. Although it is a 1995 it is in great shape and the inside is in great condition. My beautiful wife and I spent three to four hours washing it inside and out. It was like a jewel that had green build up tree moss all over the body of it. Yes this bus sat in a field area for two years waiting for this pastor to collect on a dream that God had said he would give. I'm still believing for that full size bus also and it's coming but for now there are fifteen people out there waiting for New Life Church bus ministry to pick them up. How ya like me now; satan? Thank you Lord God for you have delivered into our hands means in which to fulfill Our Great Commission.

Some of you may have known about the pain Paul had in his side for the past 6 months because I had been asking for prayer. After several tests, one being a bone scan to rule out cancer, everything came back fine...there were no cracks, breaks, or cancer. But he was still having the pain. The doctor wasn't sure what it was...thought maybe it was a displaced rib, so I continued to ask for prayer for Paul. About two weeks ago he was laying in bed, and I just put my hand on the spot and prayed, prayed, prayed for the pain to go away. I remember feeling some warmth in the area, but I didn't give it much thought. Well, PRAISE GOD, the other day I just casually asked him how the pain was in his side and after a few minutes of contemplation he looked at me with surprise and said the pain was gone! Through your consistant prayers and the healing powers of our Lord, the pain is no longer there...thank you Jesus!

During VBS last week one of our air condition units went out. The cost for replacing it would be right at 7,000 dollars. Then four days after the estimate a man name Seth in our church was given wisdom and direction from God to check a certain part of the unit. Sure enough it was bad. Suddenly the unit kicked in and has been working fine ever since. By the way the part the Lord guided Seth to replace cost about twenty-six dollars. What the enemy meant for destruction our God turned to victory. Thank you Seth for co-laboring with God to save our church from debt and unneeded replacement.

two weeks ago i filled out a prayer req for two things, 1# our son to pass his physical & for ins to pay for a treatment i need and praise God!!!!! son passed physical we are awaiting a job prospect & dr offices called yest got approval & start first treatment aug 1. PRAISE GOD !!!!

A couple in Liverpool N.Y. gave 500 dollars to our youth for youth camp. They said that youth ministries made a great difference in their lives when they were teenagers. So the grand total for the run campaign is well over 6,200 dollars. God's Favor.

Praise God for his faithfulness. The 25 mile run I ran with the help from God and our youth ended in great success. While running a stranger saw what we were doing and gave a hundred dollars. During the run I stopped and did an interview with channel 2 news and they aired it that day. After someone saw it that evening they came by the church and gave a hundred dollars. We ended up raising close to 5,400 dollars. Praise God for his faithfulness. But my God shall supply all our needs according to his riches and glory through Christ Jesus our Lord.

Got a call today from Janet Klock. She was crying and needed prayer for her daughter Michele. Michele had been at work and passed out and they called an ambulance and rushed her to St. Luke hospital. Once she got there they thought she had a stroke. I told Janet I would come to get her and we would go to the hospital. On the way there Janet was very scared and worried but I kept saying it would be fine and there will be nothing wrong with her. I kept speaking God's report and rebuking fear over Janet. We both believed despite the report we had been given and the lack of information since the first phone call. Once we got there and entered the room she was fine and the doctors couldn't find anything wrong. It was nothing short of a miracle from God. I believed that she did suffer some kind of attack but doctors ran all kinds of CT scans and gave her a clean bill of health. Compliments of The Great Physician.

Wednesday evenings I never answer the phone here at church because I'm preparing for our wed. service. As I was studying the phone rang about twenty-five minutes before service and the Lord had me answer it. Long story short it lead to me picking up an old gentleman named Jerry. He told me had caught a ride here with a trucker and was trying to get to Stewart Florida. He was stranded at the local Walmart and said he had called several churches in the area but only got answering machines. He needed to get to Utica in the morning to meet up with another trucker who would take him all the way to Stewart Florida. I told him get ready and I'll come and pick him up if he would come to the service. He came and after the service I planned taking him to Utica but instead I got him a room at the Herkimer hotel with a free voucher. The next morning I picked him up and took him to Utica to meet up with the trucker. The man was 67 years old had recently had heart by pass surgery. I know that I know that God was with Jerry to get him this far and God prompted me to answer the phone. We talked all about what a miracle his trip has been so far and now coming to our church, the hotel and now the ride to Utica. Oh and the trucker he met he didn't even know he just got on the radio of the last trucker who got him here and within fifteen minutes a trucker said if you met me tomorrow in Utica, I'll get you home. Oh did I tell you that the place the trucker is going to is literally only two blocks from where Jerry's trailer is?

Our God is so faithful. Alan Heath had to have surgery at St. Luke hospital on Tuesday. Just received a report from Andrea today on his test results. 95% of the people that undergo this type of surgery come end up with a report of cancer. Alan was in the 5 percentage group. Yes...Yes...Yes Our God has not only heard our prayer against the stronghold of cancer in the valley but has answered ever so clear in Alan's life. Praise God for his goodness and mercy towards his own.

I just wanted to say Thank you to all who prayed for Rich's Grandfather. He passed away Saturday and is finally home where he belongs. He is now reunited with his lovely wife once again. We will miss him dearly.

God is on the move and so is New Life Church, Herkimer. People are being set free from life long addictions and salvation in Christ in now their new dwelling place. Crying has lasted throughout the night but now joy has come in the morning. Tears are replaced with uncontrollable laughter. Sickness gives way to healing. Poverty bows at he who fed the five thousand with two small fish and three loaves of bread. The blackest of souls, are now the light of the world. And they that obeyed satan is now rebuking him. Yes this is who we are. This is New Life Church. AS ONE!!!!!

Just finished hitting local businesses today. Such a profound support in sponsoring my 25 mile run to raise money for our young people to go to youth camp. The out pouring of our own church families in sponsorship has also been so incredible and of God. Even my friends and family from our former church is supporting the run. And a couple from Greeenville, N.C. of whom I've never met heard about the run and sent me a check for one hundred dollars. Satan and hoards of hell you can't stop this. New Life Church, Herkimer. AS ONE!!!!

I just spoke with a lady name Rose. She wanted to thank me for coming to New Life and wanted to tell me how much the word is touching her life. She said her husband can't hear and she can't walk on her own and just started laughing about it; saying how good God is and how she talks with him everyday. I asked her where she lives and she said in the country out in Mohawk. Then she said but our next move will be going to heaven and we won't have to pack anything and again she started just laughing. That laugh and her calling me honey every few sentences was just so touching to my soul. She said she has been married to her husband for over fifty years and they haven't killed each other yet and again, you guessed it. The rolling laughter started. I thank God with all my heart for people like Rose and many others here at New Life Church. It humbles me daily.

This year's CMA missions ride was a great success. We had a total of 6 chapters from around the state join us for a rain-free ride; 97 bikes & 135 members converged upon Piggy Pats BBQ! I don't have the amount collected from NYS, but our little chapter in Utica raised almost $6,000! Thanks to all who supported me; many will be blessed with the Gospel message through your donations.

I praise God that I decided to go back to New Life about 3 weeks ago. I have been praying for my husband to find employment, and low and behold last week, he received a call from Macy's, and started his training. Pastor David Hayner is amazing, his sermons have been great, and Touch my heart each week.
